EA FC 26 transforms Career Mode with a suite of features that break free from repetitive seasons. The new Manager Live system replaces linear campaigns with a dynamic Hub of rotating weekly challenges, while Icons and Heroes allow managers to field fantasy squads mixing legends with current stars. Combined with deeper simulation, authentic gameplay, and a host of community-driven improvements, this year’s Career Mode offers unprecedented depth for both long-time fans and newcomers.

Manager Live and Icons & Heroes

Manager Live centres on a challenge-filled Hub where scenarios mirror real-world football drama. Players can customise these scenarios using Challenge Parameters: start date flexibility (jumping into midseason relegation battles), team selection from specific clubs or leagues, transfer restrictions (sign only under-23s or specific nationalities), and tactical limitations such as locked high pressing. Completing challenges earns exclusive retro kits and progresses the Season Pass, which unlocks Icons and Heroes. These let managers build squads mixing Pelé with Mbappé or recreate classic teams like Barcelona’s golden era. However, Icons and Heroes are only available in new Career saves, not existing ones.
